Meet Jordyn
“Just because no one else can heal or do your inner work for you doesn’t mean you can, should, or need to do it alone.”
— Lisa Olivera
Greetings! My name is Jordyn (she/her), and I am a licensed clinical social worker with experience supporting people of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds with their mental well-being. I aim to create a welcoming, warm space for people to explore and heal with support. I value building strong therapeutic relationships and working alongside clients to help them achieve their goals.
My therapeutic approach focuses heavily on the mind-body connection. I utilize somatic strategies and mindfulness in tandem with approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Internal Family Systems to help you tune into what your body may be trying to communicate with you and create space between you and your thoughts.
I am passionate about supporting folks with anxiety, depression, attachment issues, family and relationship struggles, self-esteem, identity, and navigating life changes and stress. I am an ally of the LGBTQ+ community and have experience supporting gender-expansive youth and their families.
I received my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and my Master of Social Work degree at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. When I am not working, I enjoy spending time outdoors, reading, running, and hanging out with my friends and family.
