Meet Jen
“Trauma blocks love, connection, and creativity; and in turn, love has the power to transcend trauma, heal us, and reconnect us to our Self, our soul, our source, and to each other.”
-Frank Anderson, MD
Thank you for taking the time to invest in your mental health and well-being. I would be honored to be a resource in your healing journey.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with experience working with children, adolescents, and adults. I especially enjoy working with clients with complex PTSD, attachment/developmental trauma, and neurodivergent folks. I am passionate about supporting the LGBTQIA+ population, as well as poly and non-monogamous folks.
The nature of my practice is client-centered and eclectic, meaning treatment for every individual is unique and fostered by the therapeutic relationship. I practice holding a safe space for you to feel supported in your healing journey, while empowering you to live your best life outside of our sessions. My hope is that through our sessions, you will build self awareness, self compassion, confidence, and learn healthy strategies to cope with the painful experiences that life brings.
Some of my specialties include Brainspotting and Emotionally Focused Therapy. I also often draw from modalities such as Internal Family Systems, Polyvagal Theory, Play Therapy, and other somatic and attachment based modalities. I am especially interested and experienced in areas of PTSD, complex-PTSD, narcissistic abuse recovery, attachment issues, anxiety, depression, neurodivergence, and complicated grief.
Outside of being a therapist, I love dance, making art, hiking, reading, and spending time with my loved ones.
